Lemon water first thing in the morning can have many health benefits including:

🍋 Balancing Electrolytes- Water is best absorbed when electrolytes are in balance. Otherwise you may be urinating out most of what you drink.
🍋Helping Digestion- Promotes peristalsis (the contraction of the colon in digestion). Moving the toxins out of the body may help
with weight loss. It also helps to boost gastric secretions to break down the food.
🍋Source of Vitamin C-Cold and Flu season is here. Vitamin C can help boost the immune system as well as help combat viruses and bacteria.
🍋Helps Prevent Kidney Stones- The Citrate in lemons can make urine less acidic which may even break up small stones.
